About Us

The Historic Rose Hotel has a long history of serving the State of Illinois and the people passing through it by giving them a place to rest their heads. This preserved landmark has stood atop this bluff on the Ohio River for over two hundred years, and with that comes a lot of stories from those passing through. When staying here we will welcome you with hospitality that you will honestly find not only in this building but throughout Elizabethtown. While making your own stories our innkeeper will be more than happy to tell you the stories of those that came before.
